Finding Accident History

I’m in the process of buying a second-hand Audi A4, but I’m a bit concerned about its history. The dealer claims it’s accident-free, but I know that’s not always the case. I've read about people getting tricked because they didn’t verify the VIN. I think it’s time for me to do a VIN search before committing to anything. Does anyone know which services provide the most accurate information? And how do you interpret the data if you’re not an expert?

It’s smart that you’re looking into a VIN search before buying. I had a similar situation with a used Nissan Rogue last year. The dealer was all smiles, saying it had a clean history, but my gut told me to check. I used a few online VIN search tools, and the first couple only gave me basic info, like the car’s specs. But then I tried Vindecoderz, and it was a game changer. The report showed a minor accident two years ago, which the seller hadn’t mentioned.
